In the bustling world of fashion, Rucha Shukla, Founder- Vilaasita, found herself troubled by the detrimental impact of fast fashion on our environment. Inspired by her involvement with a few NGOs she saw an opportunity to make a difference. One such was the House of Humanity Charitable Trust, which helped identify women from nearby communities who were eager to learn and earn. 

With a heart full of compassion and a vision for change, she embarked on a journey to empower these resilient women with employment, identity, and a chance to rewrite their narratives.

Rucha recognized the untapped potential within these women. With careful nurturing and guidance, they blossomed into integral members of our team. Collaborating with a talented fashion designer and dedicated trainer, she embarked on a mission to impart the art of stitching, ensuring each creation is imbued with skill and love. Embracing India's rich heritage, Vilaasita incorporates traditional hand-dyeing techniques, preserving the authenticity and soul of our fabrics.

The logo, a vibrant purple flower, symbolizes the hands that toil diligently to create timeless pieces, all nestled within the embrace of a greener, more sustainable planet.
